Wow im extremely confused.

O well, so my girlfriend went to the doctor today, turns out she completey ripped her ACL...

I told her taht competitive cheerleading would be hard on her and looks like i was right. Maybe next time she will listen to me. Anyways she has to have surgery now and she cant even do cheerleading next year like she wanted too. Poor girl is having a tough time right now... i wish it was me with the torn ACL instead of her.

Its a tendon in your knee that apparently is pretty vital. I just know its really bad when you rip it.

Ya but hopefuly she will bounce back. The worst part was she did it when she did a jump shes done a million times. Just a freak thing, and then being the brillant one that she is after she hurt it she kept doing the routine. She hurt it on the very first stunt! I think that made it worse.

Ya she cant do sports for a long time, and shes gonna be in rehab for 6 months!

that prolly did I remember when i was in college i hurt my back lifting a 100 lb plastic trash can of dry mix that collapsed in on itself shifting the weight and bringing me to my knees...i was a pottery major and was mixing clay...had to reserve the mixer to make my clay..and it was a white stoneware clay..so i had to completely clean out the mixer to use it....so I continued working in horrible pain....i ended up sitting out the rest of the semester. It is so easy no to listen to our bodies when they are in pain. I'll say a lprayer for her surgery that all goes well
